While working at Liquid Agency I got the opportunity to design in-house social assets for Intel to encourage employee engagement.
The Inspiration
Now that remote work is the standard, so is the Zoom meeting. As part of the collection of social assets, I was tasked with creating engaging Zoom Backgrounds for their teams to use.
My goal was to move beyond the basic gradient, PC-screensaver styles common with tech companies to create images that employees were excited to use—and that looked beautiful even when viewed in gallery mode.
I looked to Piet Mondrian, a master of the grid and balance, for inspiration.
The idea behind the various nature backgrounds is to say that no matter where we are, we are connected.
